Plymouth Wrestling Club at home at Homestead

February 16, 2011

02/17/11  The Plymouth Wrestling Club took 10 wrestlers on the road this past weekend to Homestead High School in Fort Wayne and eight of them came home with a 6th place or better placement.

Novice Cody Bernero had two pins during the day and came home with a first place medal.  Novice Nate LaFree placed 2nd as did intermediate Andrew Himes. Placing fourth were Bantam James Dreibelbis and Novice Zane DeVault. PeeWee Gage Kinney and Novice Aiden Burkens came in fifth while Novice Kevin Sibal placed sixth.

Head Coach Chad Dreibelbis says “Good competition and tough losses will drive us to work harder to be prepared for those challenges down the road.  I’m proud of all of the boys for wrestling hard and competing win or lose.”

The young Rockie Grapplers have the next weekend off before going on the road the weekend of the 26th and 27th to Leo then Jimtown.
