Post 27 had a good pitching outing from Ben Salwanchik who faced 21 Valporaiso 94 hitters allowing 3 runs, 2 earned, scattering 4 hits, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.
Valpo’s Bobbie Humphries was even better allowing 1 run on 5 hits. He got defensive help as Plymouth hit into 3 double plays.
Plymouth will travel to Crown Point tonight. Then Post 27 travels to Terre Haute for the Wayne Newton Tournament starting Friday.
