10/17/11 The Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioners will meet Monday morning in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

The agenda for the Drainage Board includes consideration of the retention ponds in the Southpointe Subdivision developed by Del Wenzel.

Other agenda items include the request to transfer the balance of the Elmer Seltenright watershed, known as the Keyser Ditch to the Seltenright account.  The drainage board will consider the application to cross a regulated drain by Century Link at 3A Road east of Coffel Street.  They will sign the ditch maintenance contract on the Yellow River Bank Protection Program and findings of order of the Thomas Lowry vacation.

Following the Drainage Board meeting the County Commissioners will meet at 9:30.  Their agenda includes the 3rd quarter report by the County Building Commissioner, a drainage issue on Oak Road by Rex Castleman and Sheriff Tom Chamberlin’s request for prepayment for vehicle purchases.

M.C. Clerk Julie Fox representing the Election Board will discuss redistricting and reprecincting while Neal Haeck from the County Highway Department will discuss Pine Road/Pioneer Drive and Jeff Million will update the commissioners on the 13th Road Bridge replacement.

Also on the agenda are the County Attorney report, County Auditor report and Commissioner items.

Both meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
