02/08/11 As a part of the One Book One Town event the Plymouth Public Library is inviting citizens to attend a special concert at the library this Sunday.

On Sunday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Laramore Meeting rooms there is a very special, free Ragtime Concert.  Don’t miss the magical piano of Culver’s, Ann Bigley, as she whisks you back in time by playing music from the Roaring 20’s and featuring Hubert Tanner’s composition, “Scraps from the Rag Bag”.

Ms. Bigley taught public school music for 33 years, played piano with the “Cardiac Kids”, served as a church choir director and is the accompanist for the Purdue Extension Woman’s Chorus, called the “Melody Makers of Indiana.”

This is another event in celebration of the community’s invitation to read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.  Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this free concert.  Light refreshments will be served.  This event is sponsored by Friends of the Library and the Marshall County Museum.
