02/07/11 Dean Byers, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together has announced the re-scheduling of the open house for this year’s event.
Rebuilding Together of Marshall County will be holding its annual open house on Thursday, February 10th, at 6 PM at the Life Enrichment Center, 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth.
Project homes will be on display for the scheduled work day on April 30th. The open house is held for volunteer sponsor groups to review the homes and select a home that will meet the skilled level of their volunteers.
The open house is also, a time when board members can share with those who want to learn more about the program and how they can get involved. Some of the work listed on the project homes this year are: interior painting, vinyl floor replacement, roof repair, yard cleaning and window replacement and door replacement.
The work is at no cost to the homeowner and it is an all volunteer program with materials and supplies donated or purchased at reduced prices.
