01/12/11 On Sunday, January 9th at approximately 11:50 AM, Marshall County Officer Les McFarland was on routine patrol in the area of Tippecanoe. He initiated a traffic stop on a 1986 Mercury Cougar for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as 36 year old Michael P. Artists of Rochester. Artists was found to be operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. He was arrested for driving while suspended with prior charges and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with bond set at $750.
