07/20/11 The Plymouth Rotary Club will host its annual Rotary Pancake Days July 21st through July 23rd at the usual locations: the tent on Garro Street just west of Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth. Pancake Days, which has been held by Rotary every year since the late 1950’s, features pancakes and sausage cooked by the Rotarians together with coffee, O.J. or mile. The price is $5 for an adult and $2 for a child 12 or under.
The proceeds of the event go to college scholarships for Plymouth High School students and to support local charities among which are the following: Boys and Girls Club, Life Enrichment Center, Neighborhood Center, Hospice, Heminger House, Marshall County Community Foundation, United Way and Older Adult Services. Rotary also contributes to the Rotary Foundation, the Haiti Water Funds and other charities of national or international scope.
Tickets for Rotary Pancake Days may be obtained from any Plymouth Rotarian or at the Pancake Days Tent. Hours of operation will be 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Sidewalk Sale Days in Plymouth.
