Season Opener for LJH Track Team

04/13/11 The Lincoln Junior High track teams opened their season with a meet against Indian Springs on Monday evening.  The 8th grade girls won by a score of 68-32.  Allie Wright was a triple winner in the 1600m,  800m, and 4 x 400m relay.  Hunter Stevens was also a triple winner in the 200m, 4 x 100 relay, and the 4 x 400 relay.  Others placing for Lincoln:

Kaydon Fossler – 1st high jump, 1st 4 x 400 relay

Cassie Quissell – 1st long jump, 2nd high jump

Katelyn O’Neal – 1st – hurdles, 3rd 100m

Amber Eckman – 1st 400m

Megan Sutton – 2nd discus, 2nd shot put

Libbie Portteus – 3rd high jump

Mackenzie Schuler – 2nd long jump

Haley Harrell – 1st 4 x100 relay, 1st 4 x 400 relay, 3rd long jump

Andrea Finley – 2nd 400 m

Nicole Snare – 1st 4 x 100 relay

Meghan Maxwell – 1st 4 x 100 relay, 2nd 100m

Libby Read – 3rd 800m

The extra small 7th grade girls team lost to Indian Springs by a score of 35-65.  Shannon Stevenson was a double winner for Lincoln in the shot put and discus. Others scoring for the Red Storm:

Audrey Pratt – 1st high jump, 1st 4 x 100 relay

Natalie Wright – 1st hurdles

Brooke Wagner – 3rd long jump, 3rd 1600m

Shayla Beagle – 2nd shot put, 1st 4 x 100 relay

Elise Patrick – 1st 4 x 100 relay, 3rd hurdles

Lexi Mahabeer – 1st 4 x 100 relay, 2nd 100m

Sydney Oliver – 3rd 200m

The Lincoln Junior High 8th grade boys won their meet against Indian Springs by a score of 86-14.   Taylor Fulton was a triple winner in the 100m, 4 x 100 relay, 200m, and a 2nd in the long jump. Kyle Lacefield was also a triple winner in the 4 x 100 relay, discus, and 4 x 400 relay, he also placed 2nd in shot put.

Kevin Escobar – 1st shot put, 3rd discus

Ian Rettig – 2nd high jump

Cody Edge – 1st 4 x 400 relay, 3rd hurdles, 3rd 400m

Kennedy Schneiders – 1st 1600m, 2nd 800m

Andrew Gerard – 3rd 1600m, 3rd 800

Reuben Osman – 1st 800m

Justin Drudge – 2nd 200m

Joe Smith – 3rd 200m

Ian Bardwell – 1st 4 x 400 relay

Eduardo Zamudio – 1st 4 x 400 relay

The 7th grade Red Storm boys won their meet against Indian Springs by a score of 74-25.   Josh Anders was a triple winner with firsts in the high jump, 400m, and long jump.

Trevor Neidlinger – 1st 200m, 1st 4 x 100 relay, 2nd 100m

Jacob Rachiele – 1st – 4 x 100 relay, 1st 100m, 2nd 200m

Keith Longanecker -  2nd 1600m

Jeremy Splix – 3rd 400m

The teams will travel to Wawasee Middle School next Monday to run against Wawasee and Whitko.
