PHS swim teams honored their Senior members last night – Girls’ co-captains Hannah Eads and Kenzie Miller and Boys’ co-captain Poaolo Palmitessa as well as Katelynn Brashere, Kannika Chaisri, Lauren Kelso and Tabitha Sherwood. PHS girls defeated Elkhart Memorial but the Charger boys outswam the PHS boys.
Both Miller and Palmitessa won their individual events of IM and back. Kaley Brower was also a double winner in the 50 and 100 free. Helping Brower sweep the 100 free were Chaisri and Katelyn Brown. Brashere won the 100 fly and Alayna Holmquest won diving with a personal best score of 195.85.
The girls also won all 3 relays – Medley Relay – Miller, Brown, Brashere, Eads; 200 Free Relay – Chaisri, Brashere, Megan Senter and Brower; 400 Free Relay – chaisri, Eads, Brower and Miller. The boys won their 200 Free Relay – Brandon Brashere, Blake Milliser, John Slater and Ben Short. Brady Ruffing had a personal best score in diving of 151.65.
The boys’ next home meet is next Monday against Tippy Valley and the girls are at home on Tuesday against St Joe.
