03/18/11 Miller’s Senior Living Community of Plymouth celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with their traditional corn beef and cabbage and Irish soda bread meal.  Residents, staff and guests were encouraged to wear green.  Local musicians Mark and Liza Woolever presented a program of fun Irish music.  Wearing period costumes the Woolevers looked as if they just stepped off a ship from Ireland.  They took time to explain their different folk instruments and talked about Irish customs.

The Miller’s staff competed in a St. Patrick’s Day coloring contest. Staff members were asked to color and/or decorate their pictures any way they chose and the residents and guests voted for their favorite pictures.  Prizes were announced during the concert.  First place winner was Assistant Dietary Manager, Jenny Wagers.  Second place was awarded to dietary staff Carol Rogers and third place went to Personal Care Attendant Shawna Stewart.
