02/28/11 The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety followed by the Common Council meeting at 6:30.  The meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall and are open to the public.  Comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.

The agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting include opening bids for this year’s fuel supplies, street materials and police cars.

Board members will also be updated on activities in the various departments by department heads, the city engineer and city attorney.  Police Chief Jim Cox will present recommendations for promotions.

The Common Council meeting includes the 4th Mayor’s State of the City address.

Jennifer Laurent, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will discuss an application for the FEMA flood-home buyout program and the Council is expected to pass a resolution to approve the local matching money required for the FEMA grant application also.
