01/27/11  Teachers Credit Union (TCU) presented a $4,407.00 check to the United Way of Marshall County today, fulfilling their pledge for the 2010 campaign.  Each year TCU contributes a set amount for each TCU member in their Marshall County branches.  TCU’s donation helped the United Way reach its goal this year.

The United Way of Marshall County is creating lasting changes by advancing the common good.  The community organization invests in the building blocks for a good life: Education, Income and Health.  In 2009 the United Way served over one of every three individuals in Marshall County!  Our mission is to inspire our community to invest its time, talents and treasures to help our neighbors meet the most basic needs of education, health, & income by igniting the caring power of the human spirit.

We invite you to be part of the change.  Together, united, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow.  When we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.  That’s what it means to Live United,” Maddox said.
