07/19/11 The Indiana State Police and Plymouth F.O.P. #195 will be conducting the 9th Annual Pack-A-Backpack at the Plymouth Wal-Mart located on US 30 on Saturday, July 30th, between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  We will be collecting school supplies such as glue, scissors, crayons, backpacks, folders, paper, markers, erasers, pencils, and rulers, commented Indiana State Police Lieutenant James Strong.  The supplies will be given to children in need that attend the Plymouth, LaVille, Culver, Triton, Argos, and Bremen school systems. 

Beginning July 18th, the public can drop off the donated supplies at Oliver Ford-Lincoln, WTCA-Am 1050, the Plymouth Moose Lodge, the Plymouth Dollar General by Kroger, Fernbaugh’s Jewelers, Opie’s Deli, the Moose Lodge, Dollar General (north), Bellmart BP, and Wal-Mart in Plymouth.  Parents interested in receiving a backpack or other school supplies should contact their school counselor for an application.  Applications will be available to the parents during school registration.
