11/10/11 The 13th Annual Warm Up Marshall County Coat distribution will be this weekend at the National Guard Armory on Madison Street in Plymouth.

Distribution of 600 to 800 laundered and mended coats with hats and gloves will be this Saturday, November 12th from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon and on Sunday, November 13th from 12:00 noon till 2:00 p.m.

 Event director Steve Keyser from Oliver Ford said, “This year, being our 13th year, our collections will pass the 10,000 coat mark.  What a great thing for our community to show such great support.”

Warm Up Marshall County Partners and Volunteers are: Oliver Ford (13th year of organization),

 Price’s Village Valet Cleaners (professionally dry-cleaning all of the coats)

National Guard Armory for facilities use during donation and distribution,

Kabelin’s Ace Hardware for new gloves,

Hoosier Old Wheels for the donation of new stocking hats,

The 40 and 8 military organization for coat collection and distribution support,

Disabled American Veterans of Indiana (DAV) for distribution support

PHS Heart Club for their distribution support

Lin Van Paris and Associates for press releases,

WTCA and the Pilot News for coat collections and advertising and

OUR COMMUNITY OF GREAT PEOPLE THAT MAKE IT WORK.
