“We the People” Meeting Tuesday

08/30/11 “We the People” of Marshall and Fulton Counties will meet August 30th, at 7 p.m. in the Plymouth Public Library.  Their motto is “Never Give Up…Never Give In.”

Issues that will be discussed at this month’s meeting include: HR-4646 a 1% tax on all bank transactions, marching with Jackie, Rick Perry, and a update on wind turbines.  They will also talk about the 70 members of congress that are members of the Socialist party, Obama signing an executive order bypassing congress, the Obama bus tour and what it really cost and the Tea party Express stop in Elkhart on September 2nd

We the People Indiana is a grassroots organization that was founded in February 2009. We are an ever growing group of like-minded patriots. We the People Indiana believes in the principles that were laid out by the founding fathers. The organization believes in fighting issues and policies not people or parties.

    I think it is laudatory that people are taking interest in the political process! It is however interesting that the group founded itself only a month into the new administration, which begs the question of which administration’s policies were being protested as the new one hadn’t had enough time to establish anything.

    As with all of the movements of today, I hope that they endure and bring a change that will remove so much of the ramped radicalism in politics today and bring us all into a more conciliatory and cooperative tone.
