Weekend Arrests by By City Police

09/08/11 On Friday September 2nd around 11:09 a.m. the  Plymouth Police department received a call of a disturbance at Casey’s General Store, at 885 East Jefferson Street.  Upon arrival Patrolman Bob DeLee spoke with Dana M. Jackson 31, of Akron about the incident.  It was found that Jackson had two active warrants out of Fulton County for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.   Jackson was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she awaited transport to Fulton County.

Then later that evening Sergeant Deisch responded to Centennial Park about 11:45 p.m. for a fight.  During the investigation Sean C. Benner 21, of Plymouth was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Public Intoxication and Resisting Law Enforcement.  A cash bond of $2000.00 was paid on September 3rd at 1:10 p.m.

On Saturday September 3rd at 1:20 p.m. Patrolman DeLee ran a random license plate inquiry on a vehicle at Michigan Road and US 30, the registration and plate information were found to be false.  Juan R. Ramirez 24, of Monticello, Indiana was unable to produce a valid driver’s license and was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Ever Receiving a License.  A $250.00 cash bond was paid on September 4th at 12:30 am.

Then in the early hours of Sunday, September 4th around 1:00 a.m. officers from the Plymouth Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call in reference to an intoxicated male subject that had entered a residence in the 200 block of Jackson Heights.  The caller stated that they didn’t know the male subject, and requested that he be removed.  Benjamin E. Creighbaum 30, of Plymouth was identified and placed into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Public Intoxication with a $1000.00 cash bond, which was paid on September 4th at 1:25pm.

On September 4th at approximately 3:12 a.m. Officer Jordan Rans made a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan Street, just south of Jefferson Street.  Further investigation of the vehicle led to the recovery of drug paraphernalia and a green leafy material that is believed to be marijuana.  At that time Sergio N. Flores 26, of Mishawaka was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on the following four charges;  Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Operating a vehicle with a SCH 1 or Ii controlled, and Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more.  A $1000.00 cash bond was set.  On September 6th at 3:27am, Flores was released with a No Judicial Review.  Flores is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on September 13th at 8:30am.

Then at 10:30 p.m. on September 4th Sergeant Deisch arrested Bradley W. Morris 32, of Pierceton at Centennial Park for a Warrant from Kosciusko County.   At that time he resisted arrest and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $2000.00 cash bond.  He has a scheduled court appearance on October 4th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #2.

On September 6th at 2:03am Plymouth Police Department responded to the 1800 block of North Michigan Street in reference to an alarm call.  Alex Casanova 29, of Elkhart was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Burglary-Break and Enter a Structure and Public Intoxication.  There is no bond set for Casanova at this time.
