01/19/11 The public is welcome to attend an orientation to learn about the new club. Toastmasters will demonstrate the meeting activities at this time and answer any questions to anyone interested in learning more about the new formation of the upcoming club.

The Wythougan Toastmaters is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to help club members refine public speaking techniques. Members receive resources and support to help with public speaking, interviewing and overall leadership qualities. This club meets weekly on Fridays at 6:45 a.m. at Christo’s Family Dining in Plymouth. Currently this group is launching a new club to offer people interested in joining Toastmasters another meeting time. Members who join the existing club or help in the formation of the new club at a different meeting time will all have the opportunity to participate in a supportive forum to share speeches and receive constructive feedback.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization throughout the world developing public speaking and leadership skills through practice and feedback in local clubs since 1924. Some well-known Toastmasters alumni include: Peter Coors of Coors Brewing Company, Debbi Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies, Tom Peters, management expert and author and City of Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter.
