07/11/11 Members of the Plymouth Youth Orchestra performed at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Wednesday afternoon, July 6.  Under the direction of Gabriele Hill the youth performed several of the numbers they will be playing in Culver on Sunday.  They entertained with such songs as “The Barber Of Seville”, “Jurassic Park” and others.  Hill and recent Plymouth graduate Addie Palmer followed playing several duets together.  The highlight of the concert was a tune titled “Table Music for Two”.  The song was written in such a way that one violin played read the music right side up and the other read the music upside down.

The Marshall County Church Orchestra will present their second Concert in the Park series on Sunday July 10 at The Culver Town Park near the gazebo.  The concert begins at 6:00 p.m.  Concessions will be available for purchase with proceeds going to the MCCO.  The Youth Orchestra will then play several selections and finally join with the MCCO on the song “Surprise Symphony”. Anyone attending the concert should bring a lawn chair.
