03/23/2 Mr. Dan Funston, principal of Lincoln Junior High School, has been named to the Great Lakes Common Core Group. This group is made up of representatives from several states. They are responsible for collaborating across the states to create and implement the Common Core State Standards within a college- and career-readiness system.
Mr. Funston has already attended a detailed seminar on Building the Bridge to College and Career Readiness: Collaborative Learning in Illinois. Additional seminars have not been scheduled at this point.
