An Excessive Heat Waring is in effect from noon today until 8pm on Saturday, July 7th. Temps will be in the 90’s.

  07/03/12 National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Waring for Marshall County beginning at noon today and will remain in effect until 8pm on Saturday.

Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 90’s and highs of 100 are possible for Thursday and Friday. The Heat index will peak around 100 degrees each afternoon and even as high as 105 -110 Thursday and Friday.

Take extra precaution if you must be outside.
The Elderly, very young, and people with breathing difficulties are most susceptible to the effects of the heat.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air conditioned room, stay out of the sun as much as possible.
Please remember to provide shade and fresh water to pets.
