09/12/12 On Saturday, September 8th at 8:06 PM Indiana State Police Trooper Jason Faulstich was patrolling State Road 17 north of State Road 110 when he observed a white Chrysler speeding. Trooper Faulstich initiated a traffic stop on the driver, 33 year old Crystal G. Depoy of Culver.
During the investigation the Trooper detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Marijuana was located inside the vehicle. Depoy was arrested and taken for a drug test where she tested positive for marijuana.
She was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Depoy was booked in on a $1,505 at 10:25 p.m. Saturday and released at 4:40 am on Sunday after posting the necessary bond. She is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on September 18.
