Rochester Teen Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

  12/27/12  On Saturday, December 22nd at 11:20 PM, an Deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Michigan Road near the intersection of Oakhill. The vehicle was stopped for a moving violation.  During the investigation it was discovered that the driver, 18 year old Cody Noftsger of Rochester was operating a vehicle without a license.  After further investigation it was revealed that Mr. Noftsger was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance.  Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were located on Mr. Noftsger’s person as well as in the vehicle.

  Synthetic marijuana, prescription pills and 41 grams of marijuana were located and led to the arrest of Cody Noftsger for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance of Schedule I Narcotic, Deal in Marijuana, Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated and Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle with a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance and Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail on a $1,505 bond.
