May 15, 2012

05/16/12  Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County has completed the thirteenth home in Marshall County and will hold dedication ceremony this Sunday, May 20th at 4 PM.

The Rev. Harold Yoder Pastor of the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church will officiate the ceremony.  Rev. Yoder is an active Habitat volunteer and lives in Plymouth.

The new home is located at 920 West Madison in Plymouth.  The home has been constructed for Tammy Baca and her son, Jose. Tammy has nearly completed all the requirements to become a Habitat partner family. Constructed started in the fall of 2011, with volunteers working each Saturday, toward the goal of a new home by spring.

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating inadequate housing worldwide. The Marshall County affiliate was established in 1999.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony and tour the home.
