Plymouth-On Thursday, March 6, at 6:18 P.M. Michael Jernstrom reported to County Police that an employee of his, 49 year old Thomas Howell of Plymouth, was doing work for him at Quality Setters Inc. at 15124 Michigan Road, Argos and he observed Thomas Howell removing large amounts of copper wiring from one of the buildings on the property and he removed Thomas Howell from the property.

  A follow up investigation lead Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy to the Red Rock Inn on North Michigan Street.   Mr. Howell had been reported staying in room 126.  County Officers made contact with the occupants of Room 126 and located Thomas Howell at approximately 8:30 P.M. Thursday evening.  Deputies also located a meth lab. 

  The room was occupied by 40 year old Dawn Miller of Plymouth,

  41 year old Todd Kring of Plymouth and Thomas Howell and all three occupants were taken into custody. 

The Indiana State Police meth lab team was contacted for cleanup and disposal of the hazardous materials.  All three subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Dealing, Delivering, Manufacturing Methamphetamine.  Thomas Howell was additional charged of theft and intimidation for the alleged crime committed at Quality Setters. All three subjects were held on no bond.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene at the Red Rock Inn by the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana State Police.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
