11/09/12 In 5th Grade basketball action on Thursday night, the Riverside Rockets traveled to Walkerton and came home with a victory, winning 42-9. The Rockets launched off to an early lead, and never looked back. Adam Hunter had 10 points, Kameron VanLue with 8, Trey Galloway added 6, and Brady Hisson, Joseph Styers, and Kendall Himes all added 4.
The 5th Grade B team defeated Walkerton behind a strong defensive effort, winning 15-0. Nick Craft had 5 points, Andrew Himes had 4, and Matthew Johnston, Andy Rostron, and Jared Scoff all added 2.
The next 5th Grade A and B team games will be on Thursday, November 15 at 4:30 vs. Bremen. The game will be held at Riverside Intermediate School. Come out and support the Riverside Rockets.
