09/19/12 On the evening of Monday, September 17th the Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) executed a search warrant at 116 Broadway in Argos.  The search warrant was obtained after an extensive undercover investigation.

Beyond selling methamphetamine to undercover agency, suspects Robert Swan Bowen II and David William Boone Cottrell were arrested after more than 80 “one pot” meth labs were located by officers.  That number of labs has a potential of producing methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $25,000.

  32 year old Robert Bowen II of the 116 Broadway Street address was booked into the Marshall County Jail at 8 p.m. on Monday for dealing/delivering/manufacturing meth and possession of meth and paraphernalia.  He was held with no bond.

24 year old David Cottrell of Muckshaw Road in Plymouth was arrested for dealing/delivering/manufacturing methamphetamine and held with no bond. He also had a Failure to Appear for fines and costs of $481 and Failure to Appear on a probation violation with no bond.

Agencies assisting in the investigation included the Marshall County Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team, Indiana State Police and the Argos Police Department.
