The Lady Pilgrims Volleyball lost a heartbreaker to Warsaw Thursday 3-2. 14 Kills on the night for PHS Senior Amber Redinger. Sophomore Haley Harrell had 27 digs and 25 assists in the loss. Plymouth drops to 7-10 (1-2 NLC).
Plymouth Boys Tennis team beat Goshen 4-1. Gabe Vervynkt and John Hunter each won their singles play for Plymouth. In doubles play, both #1 (Matt Flynn & Jack Holloway) & #2 (Kam Eisehour & Kendall Fosler) tandums won. Plymouth now 9-3 overall. 4-2 vs NLC. They get ready for the Plymouth Tourny starting at 10am on Saturday.
The Plymouth Rockie freshman football team traveled to Middlebury Thursday night and defeated Northridge 23-0. The young rockies were able to score one touchdown in the first half on a five yard run by Cam Eveland. In the second half the Rockie defense continued its dominance by scoring a safety by A.J. Styers. Bodie Neidig scored on a 47 yard TD run while Eveland closed out Plymouth’s scoring with a 72 yard punt return. Plymouth stands at 4-0 for the year and will take on Elkhart Memorial next Wednesday at the Rockpile starting at 5:30.
The Plymouth Girls Golf team finished their season 11-3 after winning a 3-way meet against Laville & Triton. Here are the scores:

Tuesday Night the 7th Grade Rockies lost a tough overtime battle with Warsaw Edgewood which ended with a final score of 32-24. After trailing 16-0 and 24-8 the Rockies held several times defensively in the later stages of the second half and Luke Houin lead several scoring drives to tie the game with only 1 minute remaining. In the overtime period, the Rockies defense was not able to hold the visitors out from the 10 yard line and when it was their turn their were not able to punch the ball across the goal line. The Rockies record sits at 1-2.
Lincoln Redstorm Cross Country hosted Tippecanoe Valley last night in a duel meet. The Plymouth runners were pumped and motivated to run their best & many of the student athletes accomplished the goals that they set out at the beginning of the meet. The coaches were pleased with all efforts, determination and the fantastic results of both races. Each team came out with a win and remain undefeated at home.The ladies team was lead by a tough group of three: Rachel Crawford took home a 1st place title with a time of 12:27; and Kaitlyn Carothers finished with a great time of 12:56 (2nd place) and Tia Freshour was close behind in 13:09 (3rd place). Hard efforts were made by Alyssa Solis, Mercedes Bastardo, and Kyndel Grove who placed 7th, 8th, and 9th respectively to help make the victory. The boys team was extremely competitive last night where they held positions 2nd– 8th and went on to beat Tippecanoe by a large margin. Jeffrey Oliver lead Plymouth and continued his outstanding running streak with a time of 12:20 (2nd place), Shane Pursch ran a time of 12:32 (3rd) and Jordan Morrow was close behind for 4th overall. The team confirmed the win by sweeping the next four spots to finish, congratulations to Daniel Stauffer, Chris Noodwang, Zack Moser, and Kelvin Mercer placing 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively.
