The Plymouth freshman football team defeated Warsaw Thursday night at the Rockpile 35-7. Cam Eveland scored three times for the young Rockies while quarterback Jack Barron scored twice. One of Eveland’s scores came on an electrifying 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Jeremy Splix converted all five of his extra point kicks. The Rockies stand at 3-0 for the season and will travel to Northridge next Thursday night starting at 5:30.
A rough night for the Lady Rockies Soccer team as they traveled to Goshen. They fell 8-1. Allie Wright got the only Plymouth goal toward the end of the game. Plymouth drops to .500 at 2-2.
PHS Boys Soccer action last night at Caston had Plymouth finally snap a 4 game winless streak with a 4-1 win. Joe Smith & Kyle VanLue each scored twice in the win. Plymouth now 3-5-3 on the season.
PHS Girls Volleyball team lost to Northwood 3-1 on the road last night. Amber Redinger led in Kills with 11 on the night. Plymouth falls back to .500 at 6-6 on the season. 1-1 vs NLC.
Boys Tennis action…Plymouth fell to Concord 3-2 on Thursday. #1 (Gabe Vervynckt-SR) & #2 (Tom Felke-jr) Singles lost their matches. Freshman John Hunter continued his impressive play with a 6-0, 6-4 win. Doubles play seen our #2 tandum of Kameron Eisehour & Kendell Fosler win in 3 sets. Plymouth falls to 6-3 (2-2 vs the NLC).
