01/09/11 Dean Byers, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together announces deadline for applications for the 2012 program
REBUILDING TOGETHER is accepting applications for the 2012 annual one-day repair, fix up program. Deadline is February 1st. The work day is scheduled for Saturday, April 29th.
To be eligible an applicant must be low income, own their home and live in Marshall County. The program assists the elderly, disabled and families with children. Work is done for those who cannot do the needed home repairs themselves.
REBUILDING TOGETHER is a local organization made of volunteers from the skilled crafts, churches, clubs, employer groups, and business who donate their time, talent and materials for those in need. The program is at not cost to the homeowner. The goal is to leave each home warm, safe and dry. Applications are available by calling 574-935-4214, leaving your name and
address. So an application can be mailed.
