01/24/12 In the Michiana West Conference position round of 10 Baker games, Argos girls lost 3-7 to New Prairie on Saturday. Participating for the girls were Samantha Quimby, Brittani Brown, Abby Cohagan, Jamie Ewing, Liz Hack, and Chelsea Bradley. The girls finished conference play at 7-6.
The Argos boys beat South Bend St. Joe 6-4 on Saturday. Participating for the boys were Tyler Nelson, Landon West, Zach Smith, Dylan Williams, and Noah Duff. The boys finished conference play at 3-10.
Team sectionals are Saturday, January 28 at Regal Lanes in Mishawaka. Individual sectionals are Sunday, January 29 at Chippewa Bowl in South Bend.
Argos bowlers Abby Cohagan and Ben Krull participated in the Michiana West Conference mixed doubles tourney on Sunday. They finished 4th, beating pairs from New Prairie and Mishawaka, and losing in the semi-finals to the eventual champion from South Bend Clay. They earned scholarship money from the conference for their performance.
