The Argos Boys Soccer team ran into a solid team #1 team in Guerin Catholic at Lakeville in the Semi-State in which Guerin won 4-2 at the Newton Center.  Zach Stockman scored the Dragons second goal of the game early in the second half cutting the Guerin lead to 2-1.  But the Eagles answered back with a score by Tyler Vickery at the 71st minute mark, his second of three goals, putting Guerin up by 2 again 3-1.  That goal took the wind out of the sails of the Dragons who couldn’t recover.  The Dragons finish their season with a season ranking of 16th with a record of 19-2-1.

FIRST HALF
A — Damon Binkley, 33rd minute
GC — Doug Kaskie (Tommy Hinkebein), 36th minute
GC — Tyler Vickery (Kaskie), 40th minute
SECOND HALF

The Argos Girls Soccer team fell to Fort Wayne Luers 2-0 at Eugene Snyder Field.  Both Fort Wayne goals were scored in the first half.  The whole game was an offensive struggle for Argos as Luers tightened defensively giving Argos minimal opportunities throughout.  Luers outshot the Lady Dragons 17-1 in the game.  Argos finishes 13-6-2 on the year.
