04/10/12 Friday morning about 1 Plymouth Police Officer John Weir initiated a traffic stop on Michigan Street at Lake Street on a car that kept driving left of center. After speaking with the occupants Officer Weir walked his K-9 partner Rex around the vehicle.  Rex indicated the presence of narcotics.  A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia.  19 year old George Mendoza of Plymouth was taken into custody and arrested for Operating While Intoxicated under the influence of a controlled substance.  He was booked into the jail with a $1,500 cash bond.  He was released Sunday morning at 1:30 with no judicial review.  Mendoza is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on April 17th.

Officer Weir was out again Friday evening and initiated a traffic stop for a violation about 8:15 at Harrison and 5th Streets.   K-9 Rex walked around the vehicle and indicated the presence of narcotics.  A search of 21 year old Allison Rosas discovered she was in possession of a scheduled narcotic and possession of meth and paraphernalia.   Rosas was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for 3 possession charges.  Her bond was set at $1,500 cash.  She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court I on April 24th.

Saturday evening just before 9 Officer Bridget Hite stopped a vehicle at Monroe and Center Street for a moving violation.  38 year old Guadalupe Camarillo of Plymouth had pulled onto Monroe Street, pulled into a parking space and then pulled out of the space in front of the officer without using her turn signal.  Camarillo was found to be driving without ever being issued a driver’s license.  She was incarcerated in the County Jail on a $250 cash bond which was paid Sunday morning at 10.  Camarillo is scheduled to appear in Superior Court II on May 1st.
