04/13/12 Early Sunday morning about 4:45 Plymouth Police Officer Joe Deisch was dispatched to the 300 block of Lewis Street for a suspicious person. Officer Deisch located 20 year old Miles P. Warner of Lewis Street and arrested him for public intox, illegal consumption of alcohol and possession of marijuana.
Sunday afternoon just after 3 Officer Jordan Rans was dispatched to Wal-Mart for a theft complaint. During his investigation it was determined that 32 year old David G. Johnson of Grovertown had taken merchandise from the store without paying. He was arrested for theft and issued a May 1st court date in Marshall Superior Court I.
Plymouth Officer Bridget Hite responded to the new doctor’s office on East Jefferson Street for a problem that was occurring Monday afternoon just before 4. She was advised that Justin Felix of Logansport was at the doctor’s office with his wife and that he had a restraining order. Officer Hite observed Felix walking in a side door going back to the doctor’s office area. After taking him into custody Officer Hite found he had three active warrants for his arrest too.
About 5:30 Monday afternoon Officer Jesse Pippenger was dispatched to the Probation Department in reference to a male subject who was in the office and had an active warrant out of Saint Joseph County. Ethan Mitchell of 7B Road Plymouth was handcuffed and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held or Saint Joe County.
At 7:48 p.m. Officer Hite was advised by Wal-Mart that they had two male shoplifters who were attempting to run from the scene after being caught. On her way to the store she was advised the subjects had come back into the store. Officer Hite transported 18 year old Jacob Fier and 18 year old Michael Hardel both of Knox for theft. They were booked into the Marshall County on $1,500 cash bonds and released Tuesday late afternoon after their bonds were paid. They are to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on May 1st.
Tuesday afternoon just before 5 Wal-Mart Loss Prevention observed Charity McDaniel of Winamac conceal and fail to pay for clothing items. She was detained by Wal-Mart until Officer Gary Cleveland arrived and transported McDaniel to the Jail where she was booked in for theft with a $2,000 cash bond. She is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court I on May 1st.
