04/25/12 On Monday, April 23rd around 9:00am Sergeant Mark Owens of the Plymouth Police Department went to the residence of Matthew V. Obrien 19, at 1501 West Lake Avenue and placed him under arrest for an active warrant out of Marshall County. Obrien was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on failure to appear for fines and costs with a bond of $190.00 cash.
On Monday, April 23rd at 8:45pm Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Jefferson and Gill Streets after receiving a call from a concerned motorist about the drive’rs behavior. It was found that driver, Terry Nichols 64, of North Liberty was intoxicated. Nichols was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for driving while intoxicated, and was given a $1500.00 cash bond. Nichols is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 1st at 8:30am.
On Tuesday April 24th just after midnight, Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Oak Drive and US 30. It was found that Joseph Strazzante, 60, of Crown Point was driving while intoxicated. Strazzante was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $1500.00 cash bond, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 1st at 8:30am.
