05/31/12  On Friday, May 18th at 11:46am, Officer Chris Miller of the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the Marshall County Probation Department for a male subject that had an active warrant through LaPorte County. Robert E. Rauen II 26 of North Liberty was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was placed on a hold awaiting transportation for the failure to appear warrant.

On Saturday, May 19th at 4:54am, Plymouth Police Sergeant Joe Deisch responded to the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson Streets for a fight complaint. Upon arrival, the suspect Dominic E. Sheets 21, of Culver was located and placed under arrest for public intoxication. Sheets was transported to the County Jail where he was booked in with a $500.00 cash bond, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on June 5th at 8:30am.

On Tuesday, May 22nd at 9:51am, K-9 Officer John Weir of the Plymouth Police Department was attending to a home detection check in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. During the investigation, Kathleen Eskridge 56, of Plymouth was found to be in possession of methamphetamines and paraphernalia. Eskridge was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where she was booked in on a $1500.00 cash bond.  She is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on June 19that 8:30am.

On Thursday, May 24th, around 10:45pm, Plymouth Officer Jordan Rans responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifter. When Rans arrived on scene he made contact with suspect, Jeffery L. Birk 44, of Plymouth. Further investigation led to the discovery of methamphetamines and Birk also had an active warrant for civil contempt for $20,000.00 cash through Marshall County. Birk was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $23,000.00 cash bond.  He is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on June 19th at 8:30am.

On Friday, May 25th at 2:51am Plymouth Police officers were dispatched to Lake Avenue in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival Sergeant Joe Diesch arrested Bradley W. Vest 18, of Plymouth for public intoxication and illegal consumption of alcohol. Vest was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $1,000.00 cash bond.  Vest is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on June 19that 8:30am.

On Friday, May 25th at 11:34pm, Plymouth Officer Ryan Richey responded to the 400 block of South 5th Street for a domestic battery call. An investigation led to the arrest of Manuel Baca 29, of Plymouth who was arrested for battery in the presence of a child and interference with the reporting of a crime. Baca was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $1,500.00 cash bond for his release, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on June 19th at 8:30am.
