04/20/12 Last Friday, April 13th at 6:45pm, Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth Police Department received information that two wanted subjects were at a residence in the 700 block of Broadway Street. After an investigation Officer Hite arrested Kevin Abraim 54, and Tonya L. Abraim 34, both of Plymouth for a warrant out of St. Joseph County for intimidation-threat other person engage in conduct. Both were transported to the Marshall County jail where they awaited transportation to St. Joseph County Jail.

On Friday April 13th around 8:45pm, Plymouth Police Officer Shanna Gilmer conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 block of North Oak Drive for a traffic violation which led to the arrest of Tyler W. Tice 20, of Middlebury. After an investigation it was found that Tice was consuming an alcoholic beverage underage and was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $250.00 cash bond. Tice’s bond was paid on the same date at 10:35pm, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 15th at 8:30am.

On Saturday, April 14th around 2:37am, Officer Wally Deerfield conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Oakhill Ave. and South Michigan Street. It was found that driver, Tiffany Watts 22, of Knox was intoxicated. Watts was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for Operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was given a $1500.00 cash bond. A scheduled court appearance is scheduled for Watts on April 24th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #2.

Then on Saturday, April 14th at 11:02pm Sergeant Joe Deisch was dispatched to an intoxicated driver complaint. The suspect later identified as Scott A. Chew 45, of Knightstown, Indiana was arrested after his vehicle was stopped in the 2000 block of North Michigan Street. Chew was transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication and was given a $500.00 cash bond. Chew is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 29th at 8:30am.

Officer Pippenger arrested John D. Zimmerman 24, of Etna Green on Sunday, April 15th at 7:39pm after a traffic stop was conducted on East Jefferson Street. It was found that Zimmerman was driving with a suspended license, and then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $750.00 cash bond. Zimmerman is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 22nd at 8:30am.

On Sunday, April 15th Officer Deerfield of the Plymouth Police Department arrested Cesar Garcia 35, of Walkerton when he responded to the 700 block of Beerenbrook for a theft and child neglect. Garcia was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $1500.00 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on May 1st at 8:30am.

Officer Gary Cleveland responded to Wal-Mart on Oak Drive on Sunday, April 15th when a call was received around 8:55pm on a female subject that had concealed a bottle of perfume and an ink pen and failed to pay for the items before leaving the store. Wal-Mart’s loss prevention team detained the female, later identified as Emily R. Duff 19, of Bourbon. Duff was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for theft a Class D Felony and was given a $1500.00 cash bond. Duff is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on April 24th at 8:30am.

On Tuesday, April 17th around 12:01pm Officer Church was patrolling and attending other obligations when she overheard a verbal disagreement in the 200 block of West LaPorte Street. After approaching the scene she witnessed Jasmine A. Hesters 26, of Plymouth pushing a male victim. Officer Church demanded her to stop and Hesters then attempted to go into the residence, and she was demanded again to stop, at this time Hesters witnessed Church in uniform and still did not comply. Church approach Hesters and arrested her for battery and disorderly conduct. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in with a $750.00 cash bond. Hesters is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 in May 22nd at 8:30am.
