07/24/12 On Tuesday, July 17th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department took a criminal mischief report because unknown subjects had sprayed paint on the Beech Road Amish School.  They also sprayed painted several mailboxes in the area causing property damage to them and the school.

During the investigation, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department obtained surveillance pictures of persons of interest in the investigation from a local business. They also obtained information of the alleged suspects involved in the Amish School spray painting incident.

On Friday, July 20th, Detective Lt. Duane Culp and Officer Les McFarland located 20 year old Tyler Houk of Bremen.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Criminal Mischief to School Property, a class D felony.  His bond was set at $1,500 cash

A juvenile was also questioned and detained for the investigation.

Officer McFarland indicated that this is an ongoing investigation.
