10/12/12 On Monday, October 8th at 8:40 PM Patrolman Jonathan Bryant with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on 27 year old Cornelio Victor Garcia-Gomez of Chicago. The traffic stop at the intersection of US 30 and Pioneer Drive was for no license plate.
During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Gomez was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. It was also found that he had an active warrant through I.C.E for failure to appear on a deportation hearing. Garcia-Gomez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $755 bond.
