06/15/12  On Tuesday, June 12th at 2:30pm, Plymouth’s K-9 Officer John Weir initiated a traffic stop at US 30 and Pioneer Drive. After K-9 Rex indicated the presence of some type of narcotics in the vehicle, a thorough search was done on the vehicle where a controlled substance was located and an illegal drug lab was found. Ricky Howard 23, of Winamac was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for an illegal drug lab. Kenneth Craft 27, of Winamac was also in the vehicle and arrested for an illegal drug lab. Both were transported to the Marshall County Jail where they were given each a $1,500.00 cash bond. Craft bonded out at on June 12th at 8:00pm. Both Howard and Craft are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on July 10th at 8:30am.

On Wednesday, June 13th at 11:45am, Officer Chris Miller of the Plymouth Police Department responded to the 700 block of Thayer Street when a call was received that a male subject had entered a vacant home. Upon arrival Officer Miller found Ronald D. Obenchain 40, of Plymouth in a bedroom, and after a brief investigation Obenchain was placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for residential entry and was given a $1,500.00 cash bond. Obenchain is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on July 10th at 8:30am.
