12/07/12 Marshall County Government is leading the way in offering on line applications and permitting. County residents and business now have the availability to apply for food service permits and drive-way cuts along with contractor registration on line through the County’s website at www.co.marshall.in.us. In the near future building permits, septic permits, complaints and variance requests will be available on line.
Monday afternoon the county had a first-hand demonstration of the new on-line systems for the media, contractors, and general public. County Building Commission Chuck DeWitt went through the step by step process for contractor registration. This has been required by the county for several years and is an annual process with an annual fee of $50.
Permits and application fees can be accepted and paid for on line 24/7. The County is using paygov.us for the online payment process and it was noted that there is a $3.95 sent fee.
