06/11/12 Members of the Marshall County Council will meet Monday morning beginning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Their short agenda includes an update of juvenile detention and care of patients and inmates by Mary Jane Walsworth and James Pheibush from the Probation Department.

The Council will consider a couple of additional appropriation requests; one for the Drug Task Force #1 for $5,000 and another for DEA forfeitures for $5,000.  These are actually grant dollars that just need to be appropriated.

County Auditor Penny Lukenbill said there were no transfer requests submitted for this meeting.

In other business the Council is expected to approve last month’s meeting minutes and will consider the personnel police amendment for ethics legislation that goes into effect on July 1st.  The Commissioners approve the amendment at their last meeting.

The final agenda item pertains to the Statewide 9-1-1 fund.

The Council meeting is open to the public although comments and questions are limited to the first items on the agenda.
