02/29/12  On Saturday, February 25th, Patrolman Jonathan Bryant of the Marshall County Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of US 31 and Michigan Road.  During the investigation, it was found that driver, John Good 52, of Plymouth was operating while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while endangering a person.  Good was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $1000.00 cash bond, which was paid on February 26th at 11:25am.  A scheduled court appearance for Good will be held in Marshall County Superior Court II on March 13th at 8:30am.

Just a short time later on Saturday, around 10:30pm, Patrolman Bryant conducted another traffic stop at the intersection of US 30 and Rose Road. That traffic stop led to the arrest of Arturo Ortega 24, of South Bend when it was discovered that Ortega had never received a license.  Bryant transported Ortega to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $250.00 cash bond.   Ortega is scheduled to appear in Superior Court II on March 27th.
