05/10/12  On Wednesday, May 2nd at 7:27am, Patrolman Nick Laffoon of the Marshall County Police Department conducted a traffic stop on US 30 eastbound east of Plymouth Goshen Trail for a vehicle that had made several traffic violations.  Upon stopping the vehicle it was learned that the offender, Nathaniel A. Washington 36, of Kokomo had been operating the vehicle with a suspended license.  Washington was transported into the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for driving while suspended, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on May 29th at 8:30am.

On Saturday, May 5th around 7:45am, County Patrolman Robert Hafke investigated a one vehicle accident on 6th Road just west of Pear.  Cayla Hulse 19, of Plymouth was traveling west bound on 6th Road in her 2000 Dodge Neon and was in verbal argument with passenger Dustin Cobb 20, of Plymouth.  Cobb grabbed the steering wheel and turned it to the right causing Hulse to lose control of her vehicle and collided head on with a utility pole snapping it at the base.  Hulse was transported to St. Joseph Hospital for neck and chest pain.  Cobb received minor lacerations to his face from the airbag deployment but refused transport.

On Monday, May 7th at 8:05am, Marshall County Police Department received a call from Northern Equipment located in the 16,000 block of Lincoln Highway in reference to a break in that had occurred over the weekend.  Upon arriving to the scene it was found that both of the buildings of the business had been entered.  Damage was found to several of the doors of the buildings where the unknown person or persons had forced and attempted to force open several doors.  Unknown if any items were taken at this time.  Any information on this incident is asked to call the Marshall County Police Department at 574-936-3187.
