05/01/12 Although her business is might be named Hand Created Cards; cards are not the only craft items Mary Wraight can make.  Last week at Miller’s Senior Living Community she led the residents in making a handmade bookmark.

Wraight supplied all the needed items to make the craft, including cardstock, decorative notions, charms and ribbon.  It was up to the students to come up with the creative portion of the craft.

Everyone had fun choosing their colors and decoration.  Volunteer Phyllis Wright was present to lend a helping hand to any who needed it.  The group had fun looking at each other’s bookmark creations.  These crafts are often open to the public.  For more information call Miller’s Senior Living.
