11/12/12 The American Disabilities Act Transition Plan is the Town of Culver’s commitment to providing equal access to all of its public programs, services, facilities, and activities for citizens with disabilities. To develop this plan, the Town of Culver has undertaken a comprehensive evaluation of its facilities and programs to determine what types of access barriers exist for individuals with disabilities. This plan replaces previous self-evaluation and transition plans developed by the Town and its departments, and will be used to guide future planning and implementation of necessary accessibility improvements.

The plan can be viewed or downloaded at www.townofculver.org,  the Culver-Union Township Public Library or the Culver Town Hall.

There will be a public comment session held at a regular town council meeting on Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall located at 200 East Washington Street in Culver.  The public will continue to be able to make comment about the ADA Transition Plan for the next 30 days ending December 15th.
