10/09/12 The Culver School Board met on Monday, October 1st. The meeting was a very short 12 minutes and the specific purpose of the meeting was to vote on the contract that the Culver Community Schools has with the teachers.
The Culver School Board had a second reading and approval of Board Policy Updates/Changes and then voted unanimously to adopt the new contract between the Culver Community School Corporation and its teachers. The School Board then adjourned. After the meeting WTCA reporter Rhonda Reinhold asked if the vote had been difficult. Superintendent Schuldt stated, “The teachers had already agreed to no raise and no additional benefits in lieu of the economic situation of our school system. The vote was not a hard one.”
