12/27/12 On Friday, December 21st at 7:20 AM, Deputy Les McFarland with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to Lincoln Highway west of Gumwood Road on a one vehicle accident. Arriving on the scene it was learned that 30 year old, John P. Premetz of Warsaw was driving a 2002 Chevy Blazer. He told the officer that he was traveling westbound on Lincoln Highway when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the roadway and rolled over causing damage. Mr. Premetz had minor injury to his hand but denied medical treatment at the scene.
At 11:45 AM Deputy McFarland responded to a one vehicle accident at 12B Road near Gumwood Road. 34 year old Amanda M. Toboiski of Argos was driving a 2002 Chevy and said she was traveling westbound on 12B Road and lost control of her vehicle when it went off the roadway and hit a REMC pole causing damage to the vehicle.
A short time later at 12:54 PM Deputy McFarland responded to Beech Road south of 4B Road in reference to a one vehicle accident. 17 year old Leon E. Miller of Bremen was driving a 2004 GMC Pickup Truck southbound on Beech Road and lost control of his vehicle and went off the roadway and rolled onto the vehicle’s side causing damage to the vehicle.
