For $10, you can give a gift that lasts a lifetime with the Indiana Tree Project. The donation plants a tree on behalf of a friend or family member and will help wildlife, prevent soil erosion, support Indiana’s largest agricultural industry and help expand natural beauty in our state. For $12, you can get a one-year subscription to Outdoor Indiana magazine, the state’s premier nature and outdoor recreation publication. The magazine publishes six times a year in 48 pages of vibrant color and  includes articles on parks, lakes, wildlife, forests, trails, hunting and fishing, and more. For $40, you can’t go wrong with a 2013 annual state park entrance permit for Indiana residents. The permit is good all year and covers a carload of visitors at all 32 of Indiana’s state parks and reservoir properties, which offer hundreds of miles of hiking trails and other recreational opportunities.
