01/24/12 Plymouth Police Officer Steve DeLee investigated a fender-bender involving a Plymouth School Bus Monday morning at the intersection of Kingston Drive.

City police officers were dispatched to the accident at 7:42 a.m. Monday.  Officer DeLee’s crash report indicates at a 2003 International School Bus owned by the school and driven by 50 year old Susan Siegel of Plymouth was  west bound on Lincolnway.  As she attempted to make a left turn onto Kingston the bus struck the front of a 1997 Pontiac 2-door driven by 18 year old Priscilla Hammonds of Plymouth who was stopped at the intersection waiting to proceed northbound on Kingston. 

Officer DeLee’s report notes that there as unplowed snow on the edge of the roadway which may have caused Hammonds’ vehicle to be more to the left than normal. 

There were 25 passengers on the bus and no injuries were reported.
