04/09/12 The Plymouth Public Library will celebrate National Library Week April 8th through 15th. Although the library was closed Sunday for Easter, they have extended the celebration until Sunday April 15th.
Food for Fines will once again be offered with all food going to the Food Pantry of Marshall County. For each item donated, one dollar will be taken off overdue fines on a patron’s record. All items must be new and unopened and no expired items can be accepted. Some of the most requested items are peanut butter and jelly, tuna, dinner kits, macaroni & cheese, breakfast foods, paste and sauce, beef stew, protein items, canned meals, meal helpers, canned fruit and juice along with laundry soap, bar soap, and hygiene items.
Don’t have any library fines? During National Library Week you can check out DVDs for free and the Plymouth Public Library will also offer free library card replacement.
